I don't know much about that engine, other than I want one and you probably do too. Buy it.

The 4.4 litre engine is a sweet motor. It was in my F10 M5 and is still basically the same motor in today's M5, M550i, Alpina B5 and others.

Hope you don’t mind me joining in this thread.

I’m close to agreeing a deal on a F90 M5 to replace my X5 as a daily. Hoping to close the deal tomorrow. A little apprehensive as I’ve not owned such an expensive and powerful car before.

Good to hear so many positive comments about the 4.4 V8.

Agreed, my mates got an M5 and its lovely!

Exhaust valve mod super easy too and adds a nice bit of noise 8)
