Triumph TR6
I was watching an episode of Bangers & Cash at lunchtime and they featured a really nice 1972 TR6.
I've fancied one of these, on and off, for years but never had the spare cash until now. I am starting to want one more; maybe it's my age! Problem is the prices seem to be rising again; £20k plus for a good one from what I've seen

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

If you have the funds, want one and find the right car then simply go for it. You only live once. If it ends up a worthless pile of rust, at least you enjoyed it as it rusted. If it ends up a priceless reminder of bygone years then the kids can flog it, when your pushing up daisies.
Assuming you were daft enough to have those equally priceless little blighters called kids.

Also wanted a TR6 but think could finish up being a garage queen if managed to find a decent one at a reasonable price. So what's 6 cylinders safer, faster, lot more economical in fuel and maintenance, plenty of specialists to get it serviced and doesn't go rusty Has to be an E89 so a deep see blue 35is makes a great substitute and although I originally wanted cream leather, black leather was the likely colour on the blue TR's so just perfect in my opinion. TR6's took a long time to join the classic silly prices and maybe a well looked after E89 35i's with right spec will hold the recent increases in value. Not that it matters can enjoy taking the E89 out in any weather.

Actually I’ve owned the Tr6 for 22 years and decided last year I needed a change. I bought the coupe last autumn and for obvious reasons have waited till now to sell the TR.

I also have a TR6 which at full chat sounds amazing I bought the best one I could afford and only use it in the dry so it still looks as good as the day it was finished. They are great cars, mine Is the PI you need to run them as often as you can, they hate being stood around. Some TRs above had mine 3 years now wanted one since I was 17 in 1973

OOH, Mimosa yellow. My favourite for a TR6
I can't quite understand why I like them so much TBH. No offence to anyone, but they do look a little "British Leyland". Maybe it's the '70s boy in me!
