I've always loved fast (or fast looking) estates, but tended to be limited to one car, so would end up with a 'car for all seasons'.

Unfortunately, I was also not one for common cars, so 3-series/A4/C-class/Mondeo/Golf/etc. were out of the question - had to be something different, like a Corrado over a Golf, an e34 over an e36, an e86 over an e46, etc.

Have now got space/need for 2 cars so had a look at RS6 and E55 Tourings, but the running costs scare me, so ended up with a 3-series Touring.

Some bits now over 163,000 miles, some less than 1,000 miles.

The running costs are quite high, insurance not bad.
However the approved used Audi warranty is proving as useless as any other warranty I’ve come across.
When the salesman says complete peace of mind, take it with a pinch of salt!
