That is a gorgeous looking 350. "I like it, I like it a lot". The inside of a "modern" TVR is as good as the outside. CNC machined aluminium everywhere. They even sound the mutt's.
I hope you factored in the TVR club membership if you want to speak to "like minded folk" though! Cos you can't do it for free!

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Still there seem to be plenty of TVR owners on Pistonheads which is free - in fact I think it was originally created by/for them.
Wish I hadn't come back to this thread though - what a wonderful car!

No offence to James, as I would have that in a heart beat, but I've heard TVRs are "supermodel" cars; very high maintenance

Very nice OP.
I hope it treats you well.
A TVR is such a great driving experience I reckon.

Yes, there was always a very active TVR community on PH. I used to join the local runs in my Fiat Coupe. Read what you like into that scenario.

I had V8 powered TVR's for a decade. They never let me down and started on the button. Unreliability is down to neglect -no different to any other car.
Having said that, I would only go back to a V8. Not sure I'd want to buy a speed 6 powered car. Would be interested to hear the original poster's opinion on this.

Cerbera’s have always intrigued me. Such a purposeful looking car.

I loved my Cerbera 4.5 for the 6 years I had it. It was mostly a royal pain in the backside though to be fair.

I've always fancied a Tam or T350, but never quite made the jump and now they are on the price rise and you can't seem to find a 4.5 Cerbie for love no money.
Personally my TVR has been the most reliable car I've had and it bludgeons the Z4C in to the dust on that front. However when they were being produced, especially the S6 engined cars, it depends on what day your car came out of the factory. A mate switched his Chim 500 in for a Tuscan and he made it 2 weeks before it went back with engine issues. Out for 4.5 months before he got it back for a mighty 4 weeks and it went again.
These days most of the S6 cars have had a Power or St8Six rebuild and are all pretty sorted.
Such a shame the company folded.
I have been tempted to let the TVR go of late, but it will be a hard choice between it and the Z4C.

PH was created by (genuinely) "my mate Dave" as a TVR S series group which expanded into other models and then got bigger. Dave has a cracking S4 in grey, which I remember him hitting a the only post in a field one PH trip out. He sold the site and brand to Haymarket a while back and tried to start up "Blatters" in a new format, but it never quite caught on.

love a t350 and that one looks great!
A TVR is on my future shopping list for sure, s3's are a very tempting value proposition at the moment! i did have a wobble a couple of weeks ago when i seriously considered changing the z4c for a griffith...
