Mercedes E-class coupe for me. I hear they're a bit boring but I have a Z4 for the fun stuff

I can’t say I’m a fan. I appreciate what you mean about it growing on you but these do look very odd. Especially in two door guise and the proportions are strange. The back is very dull.
BMW Blog on Instagram posted some first ‘real world’ pictures of the new 4 series and admittedly they dont have front number plates but even so.... gomping.
On another note, I saw a two series gran coupe in the flesh today. Looks like a London Underground train.

The grille just doesn't work on light coloured cars at all - I imagine the aftermarket will make a killing with all black grilles. Have to agree with your thoughts on the styling - take away the grille and the whole car is bland in the extreme.
