Time for my Z to go...

Post by ShineyT » Tue May 26, 2020 3:50 pm

After almost 7 years of my M Coupe, and 2 years before that of owning a 2.5i, I am leaving the Z family :(

I am collecting a new (to me) F Type R AWD Coupe on Friday... and cannot wait!

Details of F Type here -> https://used.jaguar.co.uk/search#/details/3012865

Will miss the Z for sure, incredible cars but will take with me 7 years worth of awesome memories!

I love the F Type R and am seriously looking at one of these myself if I can get my head around selling my MC, they feel like good value at £34k-£40k. They are wild beasts!

Did you end up selling your MC on here?

Definitely feels like a natural next step from the MC to me. Similar car, bigger/heavier but same fundamental design idea. Can't wait to go and get it now!

Seems like a good time to go ahead and do it at the moment as well, garage were very open to coming down on the price and didn't pay close to the advertised amount. Only stipulation was it had to complete by May month end which was fine by me!

Got a couple people from here interested, just waiting to finalise at the moment.

I don't plan on leaving, made a few friends on here over the years and intend to stay in touch. Hoping the new owner ends up on here as well, so I can see how the Z gets on in it's new life!

Not the most active of people, but this place has been a god send over the years :thumbsup:

Sure some updates will follow.. and maybe a picture or two of both cars before the M leaves.

What a great looking jag. A snarling 5.0 V8 will sound fantastic and those seats are gorgeous. Lots of pics and some thoughts when you collect it. :thumbsup:

Shame you will be Zedless, but I can see the appeal of that F-Type with monster performance!

And I love the interior colours. :thumbsup:

Congrats :thumbsup: . I've posted a thread before where I missed out on an 'S' V6, but I'm still keeping an eye on it. The car yard just won't budge on price though - I've seen other cars sit for more than a year with no change in price, you'd think they'd want to sell the bloody things :roll: .
Be sure to post some pics, and impressions, although the V8 will be an entirely different beast I'm sure.
