Sorry for the delay, the MR?? May I ask what MR is/means?

That’s ok, just wondering when you’d looked at the Alpina if you’d looked at the Z4 M Roadster (MR)

Thanks for that Thomas - nice video (apart from the wind)!

I think these used a twin-turbo N47 engine like I had in my 2007 123d, but mine was only 201bhp. BMW never put the twin-turbo 2 litre into the E9* 3 Series, probably because they were selling the 325d!

A couple of things surprised me though. Despite the Alpina "bling" it didn't seem to have dual-zone Climate Control, Auto-lights, rear air vents in the back of the centre console or front parking sensors!

A bit of a quirky choice, which may be why they are pretty rare!
      Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
      Gone - Montego Blue
      Gone - Ruby Black

Thanks for watching, I do apologise about the wind! :(
Yeah it was my first Alpina D3 experience, I agree the options on that model were pretty bare bones.

nice car, but for an Alpina it seems pretty bare bones. Most of the Alpina have the badges/logos on the seats etc. That steering wheel though is quite a nice addition and yeah they did use the twin turbo N47, the D3 to me always came across as a bit of a "budget" Alpina.
