Jag F-Type 'S' ..... almost
My brother, a BMW owner (previous Porsche owner) just bought a 2014 V6 S coupe with the wife's approval - after test driving the E89 Z4, They love it and it sounds lovely ! Car and driver loved it and I found quite a number of good reviews online when I was helping him decide.
Go for it

I had a 981 cayman before my F type..
The Cayman was superb, very agile and precise.
The Jag is much quicker but is more GT than sports car,its a lovely place to sit whilst doin a few miles

I was going to 'go for it' but SWMBO decided that it was just a bit rich for our tastes right now. If it still around in May we'll reconsider. Plus there will undoubtedly be more available then (and heading into winter down here the verts may be slightly better priced)
And that's exactly what I'm after - more GT than sports car. I'm not really into the hard core performance/track demon type experience, which is why I have no problem with where the E89 sits. The F-type S seems to be a nicer place to be in than the E89, complete lack of storage space notwithstanding...

Yea
I don’t have an issue with that, the boot although shallow isn’t bad.. glove box , console, cubby and door pockets carry more than enough for what I need ..
We are doing a euro trip in May, so dare say space will be tight but manageable
That’s if covid 19 doesn’t cancel it or kill us all

From what my brother reports you should be happy in the F type. I hope you convince the Mrs.enzed4 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 4:13 amI was going to 'go for it' but SWMBO decided that it was just a bit rich for our tastes right now. Brother paid about half the new cost on a low miles red coupe for a 2014. His comparison to the E89 I sent him to drive was the Z4 was too much of a sport car for his wife. She is happy with the Jag

Most Jags are serviced within the network and as such you can access their service history online: https://osh.jaguar.com/
Be aware you will need the VIN number and you may have to register through "Topix". All pretty straightforward and available to would be buyers. Hope this helps.
Sold a pair of soft top side covers and now retired.

Tried it, but unfortunately it says "not eligible for online service history"BRC wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 5:23 pmMost Jags are serviced within the network and as such you can access their service history online: https://osh.jaguar.com/

That's a shame but not sure how to interpret "not eligible". Did you register on TOPIX?
My last Jag was accessible to any one and I dont recall it being a problem. I have a feeling the fellow I sold it to still hasn't serviced it buy I will try and check as if I were a punter and advise you how I got on.

Just tried my "old" Jag and it came up albeit and somewhat disappointingly no record of the 2nd service by my local Jag dealer! Tried your vin number and it advises no record of this vin. Perhaps you recorded it wrongly?

Definitely correct VIN as i can pull the spec list on a VIN decoder site (which is how I found it doesn't have heated seats, but being an ex-Singapore car that's hardly surprising).

Afraid I'm at a loss to understand why it doesn't show. My current Jag comes up fine so I wonder whether it's a geographic thing albeit I would like to think that has nothing to do with it. I suppose it's just possible it has been serviced outside the dealer network. Having said that it should be reporting that a service is overdue.
Wish I could help more but I'm clean out of ideas.
