2014 M5 or 2016 M3 ?

Post by Mavster » Sun Feb 23, 2020 9:48 pm

Was pondering one of these 4 door cars for the summer. I had a 2011 M5 before and remember it felt quality, just struggled to get the power down at the lights.

Suggestions please as to which is the right one to get for 6 months and then sell.

Thanks

Steve

If you are only keeping for 6 months then the older car will be on a shallower depreciation curve.

No, just like the look tbh plus. I have had this M5 previously and liked the feel and gadgets but it couldn't put the power down

Both will struggle to put power down lol thats what 400+bhp does! Though i do remember reviews of early m3s that they were particularly lively at the back end, so id probably go m5.

Or if putting power down is a concern, something awd, like an rs audi? Rs6 would happily vaporise all 4 tyres at once...
