Hi, i was out at a reclamation yard this morning & noticed this parked outside-think it might be an Austin 7?
Anyway, i was standing there wondering if I’d even fit in it as it’s very small! :P

Dating from 1933 according to the DVLA. They are small but so am I at 5’ 6” so not so much of a problem. I learned to drive in my father’s 1936 Morris 8 Tourer which was marginally larger and just about as powerful! :)

I think we're getting bigger - and loads more fussy!

My Mum is in her 90s and remembers her parents taking her, 2 sisters and 1 brother on holiday in an Austin 7 - albeit a Big 7.

Back then you didn't need a flash car to impress the neighbours, you just needed to have a car!
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

The Austin 7, affectionately nicknamed "The Puddle Jumper" Some of the racing/hillclimb Specials from the '30s were really quite nice :driving:

Looks lovely in the two tone paint. We haven't learnt much in 90 yrs how paint enhances a production car.
