All Z1’s have it, it’s part of the aerodynamic design, (rear downforce) the exhaust box is side to side and shaped like a wing, air flows over it and out of the aperture between bumper and boot lid.

Thanks for the comments, I’ve worked reasonably hard over the years until I decided to retire early, also been fortunate in life which has led to collectibles like the Z1, M3CSL and a few Classic American cars
