I have seen this on a lot of Z1s but is there a reason for the black strip between the boot and the bumper?
All Z1’s have it, it’s part of the aerodynamic design, (rear downforce) the exhaust box is side to side and shaped like a wing, air flows over it and out of the aperture between bumper and boot lid.

Stunning car OP, and looking at your signature you have a few more gems!
All you need now is a Z8, then you'll have one of each Z model.

Thanks for the comments, I’ve worked reasonably hard over the years until I decided to retire early, also been fortunate in life which has led to collectibles like the Z1, M3CSL and a few Classic American cars
