Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you fine people have a TTRS (2009 - 2014).
I’m looking to purchase one and was looking to get some pointers on what options I should definitely be looking for.
I need a s-tronic due health issues.
I have around £25k to spend.
Thanks

Mr Wilks's son's got one , im sure he'll be along soon
i really like them, if i could afford one as a toy i'd defo get one! Even a mk2 would suit me just a normal 2.0 tfsi, lovley cars albeit not as exciting to drive as say an e85/86

Great cars, I've got the same engine in my RSQ3.
At 25k I think you'll just be under budget for a RS+
Think they come pretty well spec'd anyway. Bucket seats were in the one I tested and they felt fairly snug.
If you are into modding there is loads you can do to them

I had a look in the usual places and think I’ll hold out for the + version! There are a couple on at £24-26k
Possibly now have to sell the 3.0 E85 her indoors!! I’ll put up a separate post on a valuation...
Thanks as always.

What about the "+" package is making you hold out as far as i could tell from outings with my son viewing these cars its simply a little carbon candy here & there along with a few extra horses ( irrelevant after the first remap which you will want to do ) & i think a sports exhaust that really disappoints ( best sorted with a decat & Milltek )
In stock form a RS + we viewed & drove ( still for sale at Hippo Blackburn https://www.hippoprestige.co.uk/stockli ... on/Manual/) it seriously underwowed us from a noise perspective & didn't match up to the stock 35i i had at the time
My son has had his tweaked at ADE tuning specialists , currently at 440bhp on rolling road & sounding pretty gutsy
Embarrassingly quick & capable car that weighs in under a ZMR & as with all Audis the cabin is really nice too

Thanks mr wilks, yeah something to ponder!

Mr wilks,
How is the cars suspension? Harsh in sports mode? The last thing I need is a bone shaker!!
We don’t have many up here in Scotland for me to test drive!!
Thanks

Harsh in comparison to ? ?
Far from boneshaking & soaks the roads up way better than my current ZM on Eibachs .
The front tyres are whefty so that might help cushion the bad tarmac a little , 255 35 19s
