I'll try and get a sound clip at some point but it's actually quieter than my previous GTR.

I won't get into the details of the costs but it was considerable.

Thanks all for the kind comments.

Love it, well done to you

I love the fact that although the car scene is much smaller now than it used to be there are still people out there building crazy setups 8)

Small update on this, it's just gone back to Litchfield for their brand new 4.6L engine and EFR 7163 turbos. Will rev to 8.5k and make as much power as I want, should be good for circa 1300bhp however I think I will call it quits about 1100 as the tyres will struggle.

Currently being run in by Litchfields and they sent me their first road mapping tune - 1.4bar and just over 1000bhp. A 3.8 engine will need about 1.8 bar to run the same power so shows how efficient it is.

The current map overlaid with a stock GTR  cute.

I keep thinking if I ever move from the Zed, it will be a DB something. But then I keep remembering how much I wanted a GTR when I was younger. Awesome machine. 8) :driving:

That’s ridiculous
Is it going to see some track action to exploit all it has to offer?

Z4MC - heavily fettled for track use
Lotus Exige - sensible daily driver on the mods slippery slope
Westfield SEiW - in hibernation
Modified RS4 Avant - back in Blighty
S2000 GT - gone

I love how it goes from 300lbft @ 2000rpm to 750lbft @ 3000rpm. That must be one hell of a rollercoaster ride in the space of 1000rpm as it comes on boost

Yeah these new gamma turbine turbos are insane. I'm pretty sure they're the exact same 7163 configuration used in the current Indy cars.

There's is no apparent turbo lag, just squats down and goes.
