What a beast. They have been timed at sub 4 to 60, which is frankly ludicrous.
Love those alloys too - so stealthy compared to the more open-spoked ones.

Farewell Z4Mers!
I’m interested in the strut brace assuming it’s the bmw one.tjlazer wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2018 10:10 pm It's an F10 M5 and I can confirm it is very, very fast. It is quite unhinged really how quick it is and how effortless it does it. As I mentioned in the video the big loser here with the new breed is feedback and rawness (good and bad) that the zed gives in spades. I had mine on H&R springs with a strut brace (shortly for sale) probably overkill for solely road driving but that's kind of how I do things and a lowered z4m looks much better in my view if you're running stock wheels. They are massively different cars but both share a core M trait of elevating the standard car they are based on into something tangibly different to drive and experience...with a shedload of power on top! Pics tomorrow, too busy driving today!
I'm on my second Zed, a cosseted 2007 Interlagos Blue Z4M Roadster owned since new - 343 horses controlled by a donkey...

Proper hooligan car OP - lovely!
Although in a way I was hoping it might have been an E60 - it may not be quite as ballistic, but a screaming V10 has to be heard at least once in any petrolhead's life!

Interesting thread. I also sold my Z4M this week and was toying with an F10 M5. I took one out for a test and didn't find it that quick But the TC was in full nanny mode - maybe that was the problem?

It definitely was, especially compared to the Z4M, although this time of year it's hard to get much power down anyway. Mine (on winter tyres, which improve it a lot) will quite easily break traction at motorway speeds if you're not careful. Don't forget, it's the same basic engine at a slightly lower state of tune as the F90, which has been tested doing 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

The M5 is absolutely ballistic, either the TC was stopping play (try MDM and full throttle in third) or it was not a real M5!MickAdams wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 1:06 pmIt definitely was, especially compared to the Z4M, although this time of year it's hard to get much power down anyway.
