I think you are thinking of the 19" MV4s - eBay is littered with cracked ones. 18" MV3s are as good as any other 18" BMW rims and obviously have less risk of pothole damage if you fit non run flat tyres.

Just as many cracked MV3's, I had mine refurbed in ferric grey and the guy that did them was surprised to see mine had never been welded before.

I'm using an alert on Autotrader, then having a search on other places. My budget is similar to yours - good luck (so long as you don't nick one I want).
Coupes because stunning!

Hahah don't worry, as I said, it's probably gonna be a year or two before I get one. My wifes car is fine at present. I'm primarily waiting till she stops 'reshaping' her current car before we get a more shiney one.

E91 Recommendations (3 Series 2004–2013)?

Well chaps... I have what you need!

We have got an e91 330i with the N52 and it's as reliable as in the Z4. I think the slight difference in power is due to the intake but it sounds lovely, better than in the Z4 in my opinion. The amount of sound deadening is great on the motorway but still lets you hear the engine purr.

Ours is a manual M Sport which is rare and it's a nice gearbox to use. It's a 2008 but was built in 2007 so is the last of the pre-facelift cars. As much as the front bumper is better on the LCI cars they switched to electric steering and I much prefer the hydraulic on ours.

Another very rare option is our interior is all light grey, including the leather, carpets and plastics. It's a much airier place to be as a result but still hard wearing compared to beige.

The MV3 wheels had a slight buckle so I bought some Riva DTMs instead which really suit the car.

This will be up for sale in the coming months, it just depends when I can find a decent 2.0 A3 Quattro to replace it. My Z4 went in exchange for a C63 estate and my wife drives the 330i. We don't need two big cars.

It will return 30-35mpg on a long run at reasonable speeds but usually achieves around 30mpg or mid 20s if all town. The suspension is not hard at all, my C63 is a bit crashy at low speed over pot holes but the 330i is fine.

It has coming up to 82k on the clocks and I'll be looking for £6,000.

Looks just the job. And if you can find a second hand BMW performance back box to go with it, it will sound awesome!

@Steve84N that looks quite stunning I have to say.

I'm sure @Mr Tidy will want to have a look for sure!

Sadly (and I really mean this) it's a little too early for me to buy at present. We are currently saving the pennies, and my wife is still 'training' when it comes to driving (shes only been driving for 2 years ish) so ideally, we will be looking to buy in a year or so.

If @Mr Tidy doesn't want it, I don't suppose you are going to hold on to it for that long? Where are you based just out of interest?
