The new alpine ???

I love that they're taking on lotus, yes I'd prefer a V6 and manual box, but with current buyers and environmental regulations those times have gone.
As for the brand snobbery, I've owned three Citroëns and all have been just as reliable as my bimmers. No water pumps or suspension refreshes up to 100k, so maybe more reliable
They also know how to make a light car, unlike the Germans, who just add more power

I haven’t seen one in real life but it doesn’t do it for me at all from the pictures.

However, I wasn’t particularly bothered by the 4C and then I saw a couple at a PistonHeads meet. Now I can’t get the idea of one out of my mind.

Well done. Saw a couple at FoS for the first time in the metal and I think they're are a really special little car, especially if they drive as well as all the reviews suggest.

Still running it in at the moment and it’s been away for PPF and GTechniq.

Running in should be finished in the next week or two, so far my thoughts are pretty positive - you really feel the lightness in the body and it glides through bends even at less than 3500 rpm.

I got a long drive of one in France before I bought and the car comes alive once it’s set into sport and you can exploit the top of the Rev range. The issue for perspective owners will be getting s long enough test drive to judge the car, 15 minutes out from a dealer is not going to do the car justice.

The downsides are the media console is pretty rudimentary in comparison to the 718 and packing for a European trip is going to be fun, although more space than the F-Type there is nothing like the luggage space of a 718.

The car is an interesting size being as wide as a 718 but a good deal shorter.

Anyway some photos ...
