It’s only what bmw do themselves with the n20 range though? I would never be happy with mapping an engine Rob, theres always that niggling feeling it could end in tears I never understand why people stick a JB4 on their 135/140s why not just get a more powerful car built for the job, I think a new engine for the 140i is 12k Too risky for my wallet.

My car is only around 30bhp more than the 28i, that’s not a lot and I’m pretty sure bmw build in a bigger safety margin than that
