Seven day poll for a bit of fun.

Followed a shiny new M4 for several miles home this evening. It was a while before I even realised it was an ///M. Heavy rain so I couldn't make out the tail pipes and badge, until I was stationary behind it at a roundabout. When I did realise what it was my first thought was. Oh is that an M4, very ordinary.

I think it’s looks just right for an M car.

Same. Competition Pack especially.

I like the M4 more and more each time I see one. It's subtle, masculine and tasteful.

Looks alright, but I don’t like the blacked out badges on the competition pack, especially on a black car. Love the competition (?) star spoke alloys you sometimes see though, and it sounds brutal under load :driving:

I’d probably still have the M3 though, just looks a bit better.
Current... Silver Grey ///M Roadster, non-flimper spec, Imola Red nappa, permanent ear-to-ear grin 8)

Previous... 3.0Si Sport Roadster, Black Sapphire, Dream Red leather with lots of toys and lots of mods...

I would love an M4 especially the CS.

They both have the same track, but because the 4 series is already slightly wider than the 3 series, the effect gets lost a bit with the M4, but the M3 looks a bit more dramatic.

I like the looks (although I'd possibly also prefer an M3).

But what I don't like is that it doesn't have an engine that is exclusively "M" Division - more like a 440i with a remap, which just doesn't make it special enough for me. :(
Coupes because stunning!

Gone - Ruby Black

THIS^^^^

M division has been so diluted by BMW these days it just doesn't have the significance that it used to 10 years ago. M badged everything.

Hell..I even got some M badged condoms from the main dealer the other day. Looked good with the light blue / dark blue / red ribs, but nowhere near the performance of the old butyl rubber ones that I used to get from the greengrocer with a wink and a cabbage.

I swear the M3 arches appear more flared. 4 Series / E92 never look quite right to me.

2 a penny in manc.

Sick of seeing them. They also sound like a washing machine. Apart from the performance they arent even close to what I consider an M car.

it looks like every other M car, understated.

I'd say if I could, I'd be in the m3. much better looking thing.

White certainly does not suit them. Can't say I noticed any interesting sound coming from it either. Just another saloon car. Guess that's part of the appeal. Not my cup of tea these days. When I was younger the M3 was an icon I aspired too. Not any more. :(

More ordinary the better these days and debadge it if you don't want it disappearing off your drive.
