I think roadster is a 2 seater but a convertible can be any number of seats, I may need a 4 seater as the grand kids can come with us and they love the rood off experience.
It is horses for courses, just got to get SWMBO to buy the 420D vert and away we go all will be well in my world

Horses for courses much agreed but we both have a SWMBO so what we think counts for little.

To bloody right, SWMBO prefers small SUV's which are ok but no real fun at all so I can see me in an M4 vert at some point

I think you need to go drive some cars...Will help narrow it down quicklyPondrew wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 7:06 pm I like white cars, what can I say?
I only have one child (15) and she is super skinny. Any car I buy won't be a family daily but it seems pointless to have 2 out of 3 cars that can't fit us all.
I might go back to the (more sensible) E400 cab. Or even a 440.
It's bloody typical. This is the first time in my considerable years that I have the money to buy pretty much whatever I want but can't decide what I actually want.
I love the M6, but they are not really sporty, will cost a fortune to run, are not very sought after so will continue to depreciate badly and the wife won't drive it because it's bigger than a yacht.
I don't think an M4 is going to be much cheaper or smaller than an M6, I used to have a 4 series coupe they aren't small cars at all!

Your hear all the hype about Crank Hub issues, i know hundreds of people with M3/4 & personally know 1 crank hub issue. he was stage 2 & 1/4 milled car often with constant launches.Pondrew wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 11:51 amNice. Have you had any engine issues? I heard the S55 has some potential issues with the crank rod bearing.KERMIT1970 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 3:04 am Good decision. i went from z4 35is to M4 Comp vert fantastic car.
