Looks a nice motor in Imperial Blue, with the right interior trim combination and loads of work already done for the next owner - from Cardiff.

It might be worth giving Phil on 07956 136662 a call (www.sportscarinspections.co.uk). Decent chap to deal with and a reasonable price.

Thanks so much for the replies and great advice chaps…really appreciate it…!

I have a Bosch endoscope so can use that.

Thanks also for the link to the inspection guy Griiffnut. I did do mechanical engineering after school and have always done my own repairs etc, currently restoring an MR2. Not blowing my own trumpet and far from an expert but I’m reasonably confident I’ll pick up on anything not right after you guys have pointed out the real problem areas…after 8 MR2’s you have to be…! Rot boxes…! But I appreciate the thought sir..

Done 50k in mine and 90% of the work myself.

Happy to reply via PM.

Basically make sure the chassis is good, outrigger especially.

Everything else is pretty simple, maybe not cheap to fix, but my Griff has been the most reliable car.
As above any experiences most welcome Wildfire…as yourself I’d do as much work myself so tips etc, very welcome thanks…
I’ll drop you a PM

Very nice example the blue one, he’s covered all the bases but sadly not for me, have to be honest I didn’t like it enough as a drive to part with the cash and sell my M roady, I came away thinking I still refer the M even though that V8 growl is rather pleasant…

Not to worry, can't like everything. Many many thanks for the advice and PM’s chaps, a great help indeed.
