I suppose its also how you wash the car and also the prep work on it, but can say I only wax the dailys probably 3 times a year and yet they still bead to a level. I use Carchem car wash which is pretty mild and Bilt Hamber snowfoam , but only let it dwell for about 5 mins.ph001 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 11:07 amThe Harly wax kind of went viral and loads of us on the forum bought a tin of it. Consensus after a few months was it is supremely easy to apply and remove and gives a decent result but it doesn’t last at all. Not even a week. Almost like a quick detailer wax in my eyes.Thrustyjust wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 9:03 am Another Harly user here. Have lots of different waxes, but gives a decent gloss and a good longevity as also use on the dailys that sit outside all year round. Must get another tin ,which is unusual for wax users to actually finish a tin !!

2 buckets, 1 with your shampoo, the other with water to rinse your cleaning mitt, the theory is as it picks up the crud off your car you dont want to rinse that crud in your shampoo contaminating it with the crud you will then reintroduce to your car.. its a belt and braces technique
And btw please don't was your car with fairy liquid, that s**t contains salt and will ruin your clear coat use the wifes shampoo at least : the pledge is probably ok in a pinch

From what I have read as its a degreaser it strips the wax off the paint as well meaning any time you spent waxing the car before was wasted.mr.tourette wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 6:33 am 2 buckets, 1 with your shampoo, the other with water to rinse your cleaning mitt, the theory is as it picks up the crud off your car you dont want to rinse that crud in your shampoo contaminating it with the crud you will then reintroduce to your car.. its a belt and braces technique
