Front number plate fixing

Post by bigwinn » Mon Jul 13, 2020 5:27 pm

Hi all

I'm replacing my plates- the front one looks like its at a strange angle... there are 3 foam blocks behind the plate then its screwed on.

How is yours affixed please? Screwed direct to front bumper? Any spacers between them?

Thanks in advance

Stuart

Front number plate fixing

Both mine are secured with large sticky pads
I put personalised plates on, the previous plates were affixed the same way.
I removed the old pads by 'sawing' with fishing line.
The residue was then removed with WD40

I purchased a large pad that covers the whole plate from https://www.tape2go.com/guru-auto-mount ... 7127-p.asp An excellent product that securely fixes your plate.
