I’ve just put a deposit down on a Sterling Grey 3.0i....

Don’t think I’ll be able to get as good a depth of shine as on my previous Montego Blue E86... but I’ll get the DAS6 Pro out and have a Damn good try

Very nice! Luckily my M came on 19" CSL reps, or I might have been kicking myself now.

OK I have managed to go to town on the car with G3 "scratch remover" compound! I am much happier with how the car looks.
Which is good because it took me over 6 hours to do.
- Rinse
- Wash with Autoglym Ultimate Shampoo
- Rinse
- Clay
- Rinse
- Compound by hand entire car
- rinse followed by quick wash again wanting to be sure that it is all off.
- Super Resin Polish.
- Extra Gloss Protection sealant (2 hrs wait)

Off to take some pictures!

Preparing my motor for the summer - clay, light polish and this time Gtech CSL & EXO for protection. After 15 years (using AG srp and egp mostly) the laquer inevitably has minor swirls but unlike dark or coloured paint, in sterling grey they’re really not that visible. So no need for heavy polishing.
