Poorboys products

Post by Rustyshackleford » Wed Sep 25, 2019 8:22 pm

I've recently had my paintwork done on my car using poorboys products.

Ssr2 and ssr2.5 were used to to remove the swirling that covered the whole car,to say I'm impressed with it is a understatement.A Merzerna white cutting pad was used, then yellow.

The picture of the back wing is before and after,in exactly the same position. This was still before any glaze or wax was applied.

Afterwards black hole glaze and Nattypaste wax.

There is also a photo of the car from add when I bought it and after it was finished.

Nice work! To be honest I wanted to like poorboys product for their apparent straight forward approach, but got to say I’ve found a better competitor product for every single one of theirs...just don’t think they make a decent product in the whole range

I’ve had some annoying scratches on my car, so gave Poorboys black hole a go today.

As I don’t have a polishing machine, it meant I only had time to apply the glaze without a top wax. That said I’m fairly pleased with the result, considering.
The annoying scratches are mostly gone; a top coat of wax would have been better, but I’m knackered and it look like it’s gonna rain!

To be fair the Meguires Endurance stuff is pretty good but it tends to be quite greasy which can be quite an annoyance when you brush past your wheel in your white chinos! :o
