Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra

Post by Beedub » Sun Sep 01, 2019 9:19 pm

As posted in the business section im soon to become a very proud Gtechniq pro detailer giving me access to of course the 9 year rated Crystal serum Ultra and its 10H hardness rating! now.... first things first it seems like a really finicky ceramic to actually apply which makes me slightly nervous but ill get used to it! Im going to throw it on my Z4M next Monday and see what i think..... anyone got any opinions on the CSU range?? or any questions you'd like me to get answered via Gtechniq as at the HQ this coming Friday.....

Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra

As a mere mortal I've only tried the Crystal Serum Light but wan't impressed. The car went through a full 3 day prep prior to applying. The Ultra needs to be a LOT better than the light to make it worth the money imho. A lot of people say it is, just a shame they don't trust the general public to apply it.

What happens when you have a ceramic coating like this and you need some paint work doing. Do you need to remove the coating in a particular way or can you just prep and paint the parts as normal?
