Piano black trim - surface swirls /scratches
Hi All been getting my new E89 upto my standard of clean and have noticed the piano black trim around the gear selector is full of surface swirls and scratches - nothing deep but quite noticeable - has anyone any tips /product suggestions for sorting this out - many thanks G

You can polish them out the same as you would your paintwork. I used a small 1” pad on my da polisher. You don’t need an aggressive compound..it’s considerably softer than the paint top coat. I guess you could do it by hand pretty easy with something like megs ultimate compound.

I would suggest wet and dry is far too aggressive on that.
