Been using this for a month now on all my cars....very satisfied....easier to dry after a car wash too. A bit expensive on your side of the globe..we get it here for $15 with a $5 rebate at some stores.

Eurocarparts are weird with car cleaning product pricing.

Sometimes it's a lot cheaper and then other times it's ridiculously expensive :headbang:

I recently bought auto finesse rag top, finale 5L and the drying towel from there for a lot less than anywhere else. Absolute bargains compared to even auto finesse themselves, yet some of the products are crazily overpriced.

£14 in Halfrauds today for 750ml.

Wasn't sure on this, or Aqua Coat (1l for 16.95) so kinda made a snap decision (after a couple minutes pondering) and went for this.

1st application: says wash car and rinse properly, then spray this on and dry panels. Subsequent applications wash and rinse, spray and rinse.

Anything I need to be aware of? Saw a few comments about Aqua Coat leaving smearing if not removed quick enough.

I found it easy to use...
Wash & rinse
Autoglym EGP (not for the protection, it’s good at removing insect & tar marks
Clay bar
Light spray with water, light spray of ceramic wax, spread it with finger tips (that’s probably not recommended but I find it covers better that way). Then use a very light mist spray to rinse it off, slowly.
Dry with soft clean microfibre cloths. Should all clean off to a great shine without further buffing.

That’s just the first time. It’s much quicker after that.

Is this Meguairs stuff similar to Sonax xtreme brilliant shine detailer.
I find the Sonax great as a drying agent after a wash.

I think this type of product replaces what a sealant would do? Although don’t think it lasts as long?

Lazza...it says to dry after application, not rinse on first application (which I thought you were meant to apply and then blast off with a pressure washer).

I don't have a bottle here to check now but I'm sure it says to apply to a wet car and use a gentle rinse off to spread it over the paintwork. You don't want to be using a pressure wash at this stage as much of it is floating in the water (like oil floating in the droplets) and you want it to roll off the paint and spread itself over any parts not already covered.
After the rinse you do a full dry-off and that should do all the buffing that's needed.
