I've been using Harly wax for about 12 months, goes on like butter, easy to polish off, superb finish. Auto Finesse Aqua coat I can highly recommend too !

Just finished machine polishing and waxing the X6 and I use Dodo Juice purple haze.
I have not used many waxes but this is definately the easiest to use out of what I have tried.
The others were Nattys blue paste which was ok and Angelwax dark angel which was horrible to use.
Need to get another pot of purple haze as I dont have much left.

Collinite 476 - its tough stuff and will last a long time.

There is a huge thread on Harly wax where the general consensus is that its okay for a quick polish/shine but has very little longevity.

You should consider Ceramic coating. A good product will last for 2 years with little maintenance.

I use Swissvax Blau Weiss, lovely stuff. Goes on pretty well by hand too.

if its specifically a wax.... Honestly... kamikaze ceramic wax is bonkers... literally 12-15 months protection , its insane! Needs abit of cure time however.

Outside of that at work i use, Swissvax and Auto fineese desire, these are really nice products!

By the time we get to the end of page 2 there will be 20 different recommendations :)
Ive dabbled with many different ones , lots of great products for the "average " user .
Current favourite pairing is ChemicalGuys butter wet wax sealed with AutoFinesse radiance , total spend £30 ? obviously applied to clayed or very clean paintwork it gives exceptional rewards very easy & no machinery involved :o that's right apply it with those things on the end of your arms

Most, if not all last stage products (LSP) are applied by hand. A machine polisher is an essential tool for well, polishing the paintwork to remove fine scratches, micro marring caused by claying and holograms and is used after 'claying' to prepare the paintwork for the LSP. Your correct though, people have their favourites and I am surprised that I actually agree with one who suggested Kamikaze Collection Infinity Wax Hybrid, which at £135 for 50g may well be worth more than the panels it is protecting, but it is a good wax.
