If anyone could recommend a body shop in London and SE I’d be very grateful.

I would also like to see pics of the work your recommendations have done to your car

I know a great one in Trowbridge (Wiltshire) not in the SE but not that far really and his work is top notch.

Its where I am getting my M3 re-painted :)

I’m looking at a full respray, so need a top quality finish.

Don’t mind travelling either.

What is this company’s name and how much are they quoting you for that if you don’t mind me asking?

Reef paint shop mate, a full respray is around £4500 plus the odd bit of trim etc

Mine is booked in with them in November and I’m driving down from Guildford because I want a top job :)

Fair enough, that’s out of my budget as still have other jobs for the car.

Custom Cars quoted me between £3,000 and £3,500 but just wanted to shop around a bit more before I fully commit.

Summers motors https://www.summersmotors.co.uk/about

Likely to be expensive but attach the pic after & the only pic I’ve still got before when some muppet dragged a caravan down the side of my 4 month old stationary TT - he trashed 2 alloys, front & rear fenders & door (u can only see the graze on the door.

A very difficult colour to match, but did a perfect job

You pay for what you get mate.

Gavin and his team are top quality and you do pay for that. After seeing his work in the flesh and chatting with him I decided on using them for the work.

Not saying others aren’t good but when I looked around and based on others he was the best I found.

I fully agree on that principle.

Dips at Custom Cars showed me their premises and took me through their process. It’s very impressive.

You could save yourself a grand by using them and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

However, just want to know if someone else can do it slightly cheaper (but at the same quality)!

If not Custom Cars is my choice.

If you are happy with them I wouldn't bother looking around, £3000-£3500 is cheap for a full re-spray.

I cant see you getting any cheaper for a Top Job to be fair.
