Exhaust protection/sealant

What do folk recommend to apply to a new exhaust to protect/seal it before putting it on the car? Would like to make my cleaning life easy by applying the right stuff before putting it on.

I've used Gtechnik exo on a couple before now and they have stood up very well. Lasted 18 months on dailies before needing work. I reckon if you use something along these lines and then top up with a decent wax every few months. . Swissvax Shield it would last longer.

Exo v3 cures much harder they say and reduces water spotting.
I used V2 quite a while back and it lasted 18 months until the exhaust was taken off but was great condition.
Just put V3 on my bike headers and collecter box so will see how that works out.
