swissvax wax.....

Post by Beedub » Wed Jul 18, 2018 8:39 pm

Just picked up a rather expensive tub of swissvax..... this stuff is so so so nice to use..... real pleasure to apply and remove. Anyone using this wax??? If so whats your opinion?

also very pleased to report the z4m is now fully paint corrected and has been crystal/ceramic coated with the Gtechniq EXOv4.... Right now the car is literally looking the best its ever done! Im so pleased, the car deserves to look this way... i Wish the pics did it justice but the silver is literally likes it wet. Im in LOVE again!!

what do you guys prefer, a high end wax or a nano coating?

swissvax wax.....

Mine goes in this week for the same .... fully paint corrected and ceramic coated . I was a massive wax fan and still have 10 different types in my detail line up ... until ceramic came out . It’s just another level ! And even the cheap nano stuff ( sonax polymer net shield ) is better than any wax I’ve got /used , for £15ish it’s a genuine bargain for what it does !

What did you get?

I have a few and it's a stunning wax. Crystal Rock is stunning but won't last long. Sheild is very very nice and will give 6 months protection with the right prep.
Have Zymol royale which is obscenely expensive
Agree on the Ceramic sealants with the above poster but for me I would rather wax. Then again I'm old fashioned. Sealants will kill the customer base before long. My customer, mainly classics come back throughout the year. A good sealant will see them last ages.

IMO of course

i have a few now.... the teflon wax is probably my fave, also have the best of show and concours..... Stunning stunning stuff. I personally prefer the top end waxes, it just feels so special applying it and seeing it work, it feels old school, because... it is. ....... i prefer WAX, i would like to see 6 months out of the telflon wax.

My thoughts exactly.

Sheild is so easy, Best of Show you could eat, Concourse....can smell the Cinnamon from here.
Be in touch soon pal regarding what we've spoken about.
Got a plan which should be a work experience on something nice. Beginning to end. Top to toe.

I have either gtechniq or seramik going on . The benefit of a wax over ceramic is as stated above . It’s lovely to work with and you feel ‘in touch ‘ with the car , also if you get ( when you get ) swirl marks or get a light scratch it’s very easy to break out the polish and apply the wax again . With a ceramic it’s a ball ache to get off , paint correct then reapply. But wax’s just can’t compete with ceramic when it comes to durability and protection
