Leather steering wheel.

Post by Courageous » Wed May 30, 2018 7:30 am

Sorry if it's been covered before but it's about the leather beginning to deteriorate.

I bought a second hand leather wheel and it's in generally great condition. There's a section across the top of the wheel where the shiney has started rubbing off though. Is there a product or process to pull this back at all? It looks like it just needs some form of polish but I'm sure that's the last thing I should do!

Help much appreciated thanks

Ian

Will never get it back properly... I'd be tempted to get it recovered using someone like Jack at http://royalsteeringwheels.com/

Thanks guys, it's not bad enough (or my standards aren't up) to spending 130 odd quid on it. I'll live with it for now I think.
