Windowscreen polishing.
Hi all,
Been trying to get rid of this :-
So far tried, 00000 wire wool, white wine vinegar, rubbing it with an orange, rubbing it with a lemon, and neat acitone, all has failed lol
Can anyone reccomend a windowscreen polishing kit, looks like I will have to break out the 12v polisher.
Or better still reccomend a company or someone in the west london area who can do it professionally for me.

You’ll also need a special pad and attachment for a rotary or DA to get the best from the CO.

I find that a good quality clay bar shifts most types of contamination from glass. Lube it up with glass cleaner and wipe off with a microfibre.

Should have mentioned, 1st thing I tried before heading into the chemical/wire wool test. I have also ordered a drill polishing attachment if the slower 12v polisher doesnt work.

Windowscreen polishing.
You are a star, https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1 arrived today, so when it stopped raining I popped out and tried it on an area by hand and it worked like a charm, so next dry day I can pop out the 12v polisher and will have a clean windowscreen
Spot the area I did lol, damn that stuff is good.

Windowscreen polishing.
Bit of an update now I have polished the whole screen, I ended up applying it with a drill at approx 1000rpm, cleans off all rain deposits no problem, also removes minor scratches where small stones have "lightly scratched" the windowscreen, for the 5 mins the sun was out and I was driving into it today, I noticed a significant redution in the amount of light refracting tiny scratches, I would say they have been reduced by at least 70%, well worth the hour I spent polishing it, infact I just ordered another bottle and pads to do it again because I did kind of rush it and seeing the results I want to see how good it will be if I take my time.Jollyjoiner wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 9:08 pmCheers I look forward to the update. Thanks for the update. Think I'll have to order some with some pads and get my polisher out and give it a go.markalp wrote: ↑Sat Apr 14, 2018 12:24 amBit of an update now I have polished the whole screen, I ended up applying it with a drill at approx 1000rpm, cleans off all rain deposits no problem, also removes minor scratches where small stones have "lightly scratched" the windowscreen, for the 5 mins the sun was out and I was driving into it today, I noticed a significant redution in the amount of light refracting tiny scratches, I would say they have been reduced by at least 70%, well worth the hour I spent polishing it, infact I just ordered another bottle and pads to do it again because I did kind of rush it and seeing the results I want to see how good it will be if I take my time.Jollyjoiner wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 9:08 pmCheers I look forward to the update.
