Have used Collinite 845 wax with good results and its a hard wearing wax but remember its all in the prep the wax is just the LSP of your choice and you do not need to spend loads of money I have been using Victoria Concours for quite a few years it leaves a nice glossy wet look on my Silver paintwork.

Collinite 476 is long lasting and ok to apply. A sealant for me would be a better option. Even cheaper sealants like Wolfs bodywrap. Can't remember the price but not expensive and gives great longevity. As said though it's all in the prep. A claybar and polish will do wonders before anything is applied.
