Had loads of lookers and interest in the Alpina down at Weston! Nobody pulled out their wallet though, so she's tucked up back in the garage with me.
I didn't know you were going too, we followed on later.

Enjoyed hearing the sound generator Sky-drive
Good to experience driving an Alpina for the first time, thanks Big Red Cat. Smoother, low down power than the M and the B12 kit rides better than my standard dampers too. The M still suits me best though

The sound generator certainly makes for an awesome noise, absolutely recommend having one especially with all the foam inserts removed from it (... hint hint Ian!) I reckon it has to be the best mod Ive made to the car!
Cracking morning out with some fellow minded enthusiasts! Look forward to the next one, thanks to Firebobby for organising.

Do you mean the 3 litre sound generator Sky Drive has fitted to his 2.5 or my switchable exhaust on my M?

Sadly i missed this after a few too many beers the night before listening to a a cracking live bands' interpretation of Pink Floyd led to my inability to coordinate an escape before the landlord at my local initiated the inevitable lock procedure...
Subsequently I was in no fit state to get up the following morning in time for this.....
