The English/Welsh meet for 2016 will be on Sunday 24th April. Kicking off at 10am at Dick Lovett BMW Cribbs Causeway Showroom (BS10 7TU) (exit M5 at Jcn17)
I've been speaking to Dick Lovett this week and they are fully prepared for us.
The showroom opens at 10am and we have a designated car park, just for us ( same as last year), so please follow the signs or look for the crowd of Zeds, leaving the first car park for the usual customers. Courtessy Tea, Coffee and Pastries will be available for us in the showroom, together with a host of vehicles including the i8. There will be a chance to get a few cars on the ramps again for a quick inspection with the mechanics, but obviously not all of them !
The plan will be pretty much the same as last year as we know the route and formula worked. I've looked at alternatives, but with more junctions and single carriageways, they just don't work as well.l
The Route
The route will be the A38, looping up around the top of the River Severn, stopping for lunch in Birdwood, Gloucestershire, and back down into Gwent, whilst taking in the lovely Forest of Dean & Wye Valley, stopping off at Chepstow for the big photo if possible.. (Approx 85 miles)
For those of you wanting to SatNav it , or incase you get lost, these are the key points:
Start: 10am
1. BS10 7TU - Dick Lovett BMW
Leave 11 onwards
2. M5 Jcn 17, North & Exit at Jcn 16,
3. A38 North 20+ Miles to Quedgley, passing a McDonalds (GL2 2RG)
4. A430 into Gloucester (ref point GL1 2RX)
5, A40 Ring Road, heading to Ross-on-Wye
6. GL19 3EF The Kings Head, on the A40 at Birdwood for Lunch (12:30 -2pm)
Afternoon
7. A40 Turning left out of Pub
8. A4136 after about 3 miles, turning left (at Murco Garage) towards Monmouth
9. A4136 Through Forest of Dean all the way to Staunton, then Monmouth.(NP25 3LY)
10 A466 At Monmouth turn left onto A466 to Chepstow (past Lidl's)
11. Follow this 25 miles or so to Chepstow Racecourse (NP16 6BE)

12, Follow M48 signs back over Severn bridge to M4/M5
(Severn Bridge is open Eastbound only, Second Crossing will be open both directions)
Basically its 4 roads:
1) A38 to Glos
2) A40 to Ross
3) A4136 to Monmouth
4) A466 to Chepstow
Last year we grouped the cars as we had so many and they set off in Groups of 10 at 5 minute intervals. This will be necessary again so, please look at the group you are in and remember your group leader.
