ZEDFEST ***UPDATE - Now at Harvester*** - Staying at the Link hotel. Evening meal. 14/08/21.

UPDATE 03/08/21
So I have booked a table at the Harvester which is right next door for 1930. It’s currently for 15 people (as 12 have confirmed below so far) but I can add more if more people want to join us.

UPDATE 02/08/21

So some disappointing news. The link has stopped offering a restaurant service and apparently are operating as a B&B effectively. So that would mean the group meal is not going to happen.

They did say that there is a Harvester next door so if everyone is happy with that I’ll see if I can get a group booking for there.

*****************************************************

Now that zedfest is pretty much a certainty and some members have already booked into the Link hotel for the Saturday night. I though I’d gauge interest in doing the now traditional pre zedfest meal.

If people can comment below if they’re interested in the meal I’ll get in touch with the hotel and see what can be arranged.

Usually it’s a 3 course for around £25ish from a set menu with a few options.

I'm fine with that Nick, still up for this.
It's a weird decision on the Links behalf. Thought they did pretty well out of food and drinks sales.

Yeah I thought it was a bit odd. They kept palming me off saying they’d get in touch to confirm details so I called today a little annoyed and they then said they had no record of my request and that they no longer offer the restaurant.

If this is the case may be time to find an alternative hotel for future zedfest….

Let's hope it's something, Covid related and they start cooking again next time.
The Link is good, as the carpark is Zed friendly, price is good to.
At the end of the day, a wee walk for dinner, isn't a bad thing. I suppose it'll be the stumbling back later on, that will be the killer
