Stirlingshire Meet/Drive - 6th Sept 2020

Post by craig3.2 » Sat Sep 05, 2020 12:43 am

Have a good one folks.

Pity I won't be joining you,as theres some guys going I would like to catch up with.

But, after several attempts at trying to get the meet point from Richie/mefiecosse, and still not getting it....I made a joking comment about the lack of response.

As such,I was told I was having a dig, which was not the case....I just wanted to know where the start point was!
Then I was duly banned from seeing the FB group meet thread?!

Sad, given the op has never been blocked from Any of my z4-forum meets!!

Anyway, have a good one folks. :driving:

Interesting post!
I've already told Craig it was end of conversation from me.
I'm going to stick with that and avoid a public slanging match.
Believe me there's plenty I'd like to say but matter closed as far as I'm concerned.

As said, you took a joking comment the wrong way,and then refused to give me the start point for your meets.
But prior to that,it was like getting blood from a stone,to get them out of you.
And I had tried several times to get them and didn't,prior to my joking comment about just that.

Yeah,it was end of the discussion from you, after you told me to do my own thing, and not come to yours!!
As said,I have never done that to you.

So,as you said, you have made your stance clear, and you are going to do your thing on FB which is great.....just leave it on FB then, and I will keep to on here,as you suggested.

All the best with your meets, and take care :driving:

Just to clarify - I've absolutely no idea what's gone on between you and Peter or anyone else you've fallen out with and don't want to know, that's your business and theirs!

Peter fell out with me,over my decision to continue to organise the National meet, etc and his strong opinion that I/we should not have had any forum meets until 2021.
He was all doom and gloom and very critical of me for going ahead with things, despite a relaxation of lockdown measures at the time.

I asked him politely,on the open post not to be so negative towards those still wanting to arrange and attend meets, just because he disagrees with it.
Hence,Peter took the huff with me,quite clearly.
,And he then went about organising a meet (just recently) on your FB group, that was near identical to my Borders/Moffat run I had done in the past, and was planned in again for (March then) September this year.

Anyway,as you said to me,it's best you keep to your thing on FB and I keep to mine on here.

All the best going forward

Just to say, I hope you all have a great run out tomorrow. :driving:

I’d hoped this would be my first forum run, followed by next weeks, but something’s been lurking in the background that could’ve stopped me going and it has to both.

Hopefully the following Scottish one after these will be my first

G29 M40i Thundernight with Ivory interior, all option packs (here for a while, hopefully )
G29 M40i Misano Blue all option packs (Gone 26k of fun)
E89 35iS, Valencia Orange, Design Pure Traction pack (Gone)
    E89 23i sDrive, Silver (Gone)

AlienZed...the Yellow Peril is ‘in the groove’....the new re-map/de-cat/plethora of handling tweaks makes it most satisfactory :driving:

Came over to Kincardine via the back roads through Selkirk, St Mary’s Loch, Falla Reservoir etc..she’s flying..

I’m not sure we’ll be exploring the outer limits today but it’s great to be out with a few Zeds after 7 months...

First pic of the day for you..not very exciting but I’m sure there will be more / better later on
