Amazing that we actually had the roofs down all day. The sun actually came out on the way home so I cut across country and on to the A6 instead of trogging down the M6. Again, roof down all the way home :D I clocked 450 miles for the round trip...didn't feel like it though. Time flies when you're having fun eh ? :D
Hope you get your car sorted Keyper, that really was sods law ! :(
Nice to see everyone today and thanks again Craig :thumbsup:20200913_100147.jpg

Thanks for warm wishes on my poor Zed guys, purely my fault on all 3 counts.

Firstly i ordered a backup key fob and callout to program it just before lockdown, and never chased it up.
Second i left my working keyfob in my work jacket and then threw the jacket in the washing machine last week that bust it.
Thirdly the lock has been temperamental for a couple of years and just completely forgot to look into it lol

I couldn't fault recovery, he managed to get to the door handle and even the button at the centre console, but BMW's aren't daft enough to fall for that, due to the double lock system :headbang:

anyway, watched a couple of vids, bless YouTube that is for sure and ordered a replacement used window for roughly £50 delivered

i'll look at the lock at the same time, that looks a bit fiddly, well.. getting the drivers door handle off does thats for sure.

Sue (the wife) says its time to get a newer Z4.... not on your nelly
