I asked about the meal cost that had been paid for the evening and she confirmed that as it will be a "No-Show" the cost of the evening meals will automatically be refunded back to my card after that date! Because I had booked the room at the lower rate it wasn't subject to free cancellation so that's gone.
You should be able to cancel now with a full refund - Premier Inn have updated their Ts&Cs yet again.

I'm afraid I'm out too - it just doesn't seem responsible to travel, even though I'm not in the high risk group.

I think we all have to do whatever we feel is the right thing.
This virus event is uncharted territory for us all.

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

I’m well brassed off that I’m in the vulnerable group in lockdown.
Ah well, only another three months to go.
Two days down and I’ve already got early onset cabin fever!
Being in that group to Ron,(70) i shall still be out an about top down ,but keeping a healthy distance .
Got a bollocking from a nurse at the hospital yesterday for attending an appointment, canna win.
At the moment its sensible advise not compulsary,
I never was very sensible anyway :)

This virus probably wont affect Aliens anyway!

I tried their web site to cancel but it didn't work, Maybe because I had already phoned them last week?

Not quite yet Ron :D One last contingency plan, after which if we go into lock-down then obviously I will have no choice left :(
Fingers crossed

I think the restaurant in the Oswestry Premier Inn is closed now.

Important Information
Sorry, but the restaurant at this hotel is currently closed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Pot Noodles all round.

Is this still going ahead,Simon?

I have had to cancel my March Scottish meet,as Lunch venue is now closed,as are they all.
Did think about sandwiches/picnic,but since it was only a handful of us,and most had decided to follow official advice and not travel/socialise unless vital, then made sense.
Hopefully they get control of this soon, and people stop dying.
Stay safe ,and hope to see you in the not too distant future mate

I don't know whether you have all seen this article, but it looks like the Welsh government or the local residents might prevent people travelling unnecessarily into North Wales.
