Things always crop up on these meets, last one I couldn't attend due to family issues and now I've been invited on a bike trip for 5 days to the Col de la Machine in South of France which of course clash's with this trip, …. Urmmmm tricky one, elected to take my Ducati to France so unfortunately I wont be attending, gutted but then on the other hand I'll be in the South of France so every cloud etc

Does anyone need a hotel room the night before, I completely forgot I have a trade show I have to attend so my room won’t be used. I paid £65 and it includes breakfast. Ideally I’d like £50 so it’s not a complete waste of my money. Let me know and you can do a paypal transfer, then I will send you a copy of the confirmation email with booking reference. I'm still planning/adjusting the route after finding out at work today that the M48 (old) Severn Bridge will be closed Eastbound (into England) on June 2nd, for expansion joint maintenance.

I was considering doing a quick loop across now that the Tolls have been removed, but thats now out, which is a shame as those coming from further afield may not have seen or crossed it before

I was climbing it earlier his week too.

About 400ft above the water there. Its 450ft at the top of the tower above mean tide level.
Although the tide was out then and its a 40ft tidal range so sometimes upto c500ft.
