Caffeine & Machine. Warwickshire

Post by MerBrook » Sun Feb 24, 2019 3:07 pm

Went for the first time this morning as its on the doorstep. Only taken me 5 months since opening to get there :D .

Thought it would be a great place for a breakfast meet, Saturday or Sunday and when ever suits people.

Having spoken to one of owners/managers this morning he said that all he would require is a little notice and restrict the numbers from a club/forum to 20 - 25 cars as he needs to allow space for others, although there is a lot of parking.

Breakfast at the moment is bacon rolls etc and some great coffee but I understand that they are introducing a better breakfast menu but not sure when.

I would suggest getting there for 9 - 9.15am(possibly earlier?) as any later it is already filling up.

What do you good people think ?

I think that some of these images are on their sides. Apologies not sure how to correct

Here are some photo's from this mornings meet.

When would be a good time for people?
Obviously It doesn’t want to clash with other events such as Number 5’s proposed English/Welsh meet. Etc.

Other than that let me know and we can get something organised and give the venue notice.

As a new Z4 owner in the West Midlands, are there other regular upcoming local meets planned?

Did you mean at Caffeine & Machine? Or just generally?
If it’s just generally, then keep your eyes on the meets/events section. If you meant at Caffeine, then you can just turn up when ever they are open.
Weekends appear to be the best particularly Sunday mornings.
I was just trying to gauge wether people wanted a forum meet there and when would be a good time to sort it for.

Would love to visit this place but I’ll ive heard is it’s impossibly busy, even on weekdays? I don’t think they take bookings even from clubs?

I’ve been a few times over the past year and would definitely be up for a z4 meet. My Zed headlights are currently in pieces so I’d have to go in the wife’s M135. Last time I went there were cars parked on the grass verges on the approach road, so I would say booking in advance / getting there early is a must.
