I believe they no longer allow parking outside the venue on the grass verges from what I’ve seen online.

Your quite right. I was checking out their website last night and it would appear that they are now going to start charging £5.00 per car for admission at the weekends, you will also be able to pre book a space if you are coming from a distance away.
I didn't realise they were having problems with parking on the verges, it isn't a great bit of road to be parking on the verges of. I have though witnessed local villagers complaining about peoples excessive speed on arrival and leaving.

I believe the new hastag they've started is #dontbeadick  either way I completely agree with the approach they're adopting - the police and local authorities will shut the venue down so fast if it gets a name for cussing speeding, congestion or show boating/potentially dangerous driving.
The YouTube generation makes any car meet such a focal point for bad behaviour - and the reality is lots of videos of cars going sideways out of car meets or achieving warp-speed 9 on the way past only damages the reputation of car meets, and of car enthusiasts as a group.

I for one am really pleased they're choosing to actively discourage driving like a plonker, parking on the verge, and are regulating numbers by charging small fee for entry - I strongly feel it will preserve what appears to be an excellent little haven for car enthusiasts to spend a morning or a day. Its high time a few other regular meets adopted the same mindset! Hopefully we'd see fewer 'leaving breakfast meet supercar fails' videos on YouTube and we could all get back to Enjoying cars as we used to, and as we should be!

I would also be interested if there was, especially if a midweek evening.

Weekly too much for me but would be up for monthly. For anyone not familiar with C&M its a great place to go if you are interested in fast/unusual/expensive cars. Last time I was there there was a couple that had driven all the way from Bristol in a vintage Porsche.
