Brilliant day! Never been before, but was wowed by the venue. I don't think I've ever seen so many Porkers in one place! Makes me glad I own the MC! Will definitely re-visit, whenever the next event is.

I think that X19 was by the historic cart stand. I have just found out that there is no flywheel this year, such a shame
There is the Wings and Wheels show at Dunsfold (Top Gear track) 15-16th June 2019 which maybe similar enough to compensate a little Fred.

At the last minute I thought I'd go and see what all the fuss was about. Great event and a superb venue! Lovely breakfast baps too.
Saw some tidy Zeds among the several thousand 911s:
Black coupe *** 343
Black Z4MC ** SGS
Grey Z4MR - Tcochrane92, as above (reunited with my tyres, Tim - what an emotional moment!)
Red 23i - Bodben, above
Black Z4MR **** DSE (what exhaust? looked gd)
Merlot roadster (debadged 6 cyl of some kind) **** KMB
Blue 2.0i roadster **** EYP
Grey 3.0i roadster **** EOZ (nice style 32s!)
Grey coupe **** YML (not sure I caught the plate)
I was in an M2 with a mate and had to dash at the end. Sorry I didn't get to say hello to anybody, I'll be more organised next time!
I'm glad someone spotted me! I love my 23i to bits but it did seem to get a little lost in the background amongst all the amazing machinery that was on display!

Wings and Wheels is a fantastic event - although it got rained off in 2018. Not enough visibility for the air displays.

Helps it being red. There were a lot of grey cars there! 50 shades of Porsche grey.
I did like the plate of that NSX next to you. “ACU12A”, I think - clever.

Someone had taken the cover off a blue F40 by the time I went into the hangar in your second picture.
I especially liked your last picture

Aww, did it look like the car in the pic below from their website? Made a point to look out for it!

It was the car pretty much in the middle of your photo so I could see only the back half. Going by the silhouettes, it looked like it was on the end of a row of F40s and likely next to an F50.
It looks pretty amazing in blue...

That was like that when I see it, also a couple of people having a private tour at the time. Did anyone notice the stinky dog smell in there

Did the smell seem to follow you around, Fred?

Haha, sorry. Moving back to Bucks next week so you might have to put up with this more often, I’m afraid!
