I’ve driven it a few times but it’s nothing special. I guess it’s just for the view down The Long Walk to Windsor Castle.
No10 is also a non starter , its average speed cameras spread over the 8 mile stretch kill off any possible enjoyment that the way too busy with traffic hasn't already
Can't see any reason at all why that would be on the list
10 used to be epic .. as an 18 year old I used to commute early in the morning into manchester flat out in my Morris minor .. that were reet grand :driving:
A Morris minor on an undulating twisting ribbon of tarmac early on a summer's morning. Oh those memories. Followed, I still recall vividly, by the sound of metal bouncing down the road, as my mate rolled down a nice long hill, with me in the back. I can laugh now.

I managed to spin mine on Brownhill Roundabout in Blackburn doing no more than 20 !!

They definitely liked to try to get the back wheels in front of you that’s for sure

Eventually the bottom fell out of mine ( literally ) whilst driving and I moved up to a fiat 127 :)

They were definitely a great way to learn how to respect a rear wheel drive car

:worthless:

Like to suggest we need VIDEOS linked to YouTube GoPro end-2-end clips of these drives, so we could all armchair judge...

(Per above - 5 roads to Bala??? it’s the climb that’s my favourite)

In fact on reflection ANY road at ANY speed could be fun ( or deadly )in a Moggy

Love those photos Andy  The big skinny steering wheel and central clock remind me of my first 2 Minis, an 850 and a 1100 Special. Taught you everything about...err...understeer :(
Sterling Grey '03 2.5i SE / Infinitas Supercharger / S.M.G / Hardtop / Gloss Black 162s / Bilstein B4s / 3.0i Brakes / DLV De-Cat & Silencer / Rebuilt VANOS / Sonar 2Xcite Lights / Carbon & Alcantara Trim / M-Sport Seats / ...& Side Covers !

My 850 was Dove Grey with burgundy interior and my 1100 Special was Silver with a black vinyl roof and blue tartan interior. Loved them to bits. Used go tear-arseing up your way to Minisport in Padiham most Saturdays to blow my wages on mods....happy days ! :driving:

Well if No. 6 has a saving grace it is that there are long straights and no cameras (yet)!

But it's pretty unexciting - no fast sweepers or any twisties really. And it's definitely one to avoid at weekends - hordes of MAMILs everywhere so you daren't go for it because there are some elevation changes that limit visibility. Plus one or two premises that have horseboxes and you really don't want to encounter one of those pulling out! :o
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black
