Hotel wise there are a few options..I see many are booked as far as booking.com are concerned, but may be available direct..

Spread Eagle Jedburgh...cheap ish..limited facilities..nice couple...local for start n finishes
Buccleugh Arms St Boswells..not cheap..quite boutiquey.....20 mins from start
Dryburgh Abbey Hotel...Old world charms, not cheap...25 mins from start..

I've just booked Glenbank House for Friday and Saturday night Ali and I stayed there 2 years ago. I think it's fully booked now. I stayed in Meadhon House last year which was excellent but they are fully booked this year
