I will be travelling up there Thursday so will need to book somewhere for Thursday Evening near where we set off Friday, if you have any ideas give me the hotel phone number and i can make a booking direct for myself if not no problem just let me know where we are setting off from on Friday and i can sort out a room , also looking for a Hotel for Sunday Evening as i will be leaving to come home Monday,

Although it's a tad dearer,if a few of us paired up in Twin Rooms,then it would be more sensible price wise.....
I looked at e-bookers,booking.com,Expedia,etc for the place I got quotes for a group booking,of minimum 8 rooms,at least 4 with 2 person occupancy,and total guests not less than 12!!

Our rates are £175per night,for 2 people sharing.....
The same place,same day on all other sites is £140,for Bed and Breakfast Only....
So we are getting Two 3- course meals (2 people) for only £35,in 4star hotel,with award winning food, apparently....which is usually£30-35 per person,per 3 course meal.
Let me know your thoughts.
THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THAT IFOR THOSE OF US WANTING SINGLE OCCUPANCY,AND DON'T WANT TOMPAIR UP WITH SOMEONE THEY MAY NOT HAVE MET BEFORE,IN A TWIN ROOM,ITS GOING TO BE £150 FOR 1 NIGHT,WHICH IS A BIT MUCH,IMO....
HOWEVER,THAT DOES INCLUDE THE COST OF A GOOD 3-COURSE MEAL.(Circa £30 usually).

For those wanting to pay,pm me,need Deposits for the Saturday night Accommodation asap.....

It's proving difficult for cheap-ish Accommodation that can take all of us and the rooms we require,that has somewhere to eat onsite or nearby,with a bar on hand,and it needs to be in a certain area,as we drive the route....hence why prices are dearer than outwith the Highlands.
Skye is much the same.....many parts of Scotland are cheaper,or if you are only looking for more or two rooms in a b n b.....
