That's if I sleep on the last night. My missus isn't impressed with the early start but I can't wait

The vanos sensor ring retaining studs have worn from the ring moving in the past. Got a friend who is a senior tech at Halliwell Jones to look at it and he advised not to proceed until new ones are available. He's gonna order them Monday to be with me next day. Gutted as was here until 11 last night on it and back at 6am this morning, but for the sake of 3 x £3 studs, it's not worth the risk of a trashed engine when one falls onto the running timing chain.bz4kev wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 5:47 pm Really sorry guys but with heavy heart I will have to withdraw from tomorrow a couple of issues with some nut and bolts and not worth the risk I am afraid I was offered the use of another forum friends zed but couldn’t trust myself lol thanks 1000rr si.Anyway hope you all have a fantastic day and hope to see you all at the next one peace out

I know you were happy to take a chance on it Kev, but I wouldn't be happy with that in my own engine, let alone yours..

Just got in from this, 268 miles all in.
What a FANTASTIC day! The whole event was arranged to perfection by Si and Jay, the food was good, and as for the route and roads? I can honestly say they are the best roads I have driven quickly in the UK, absolutely stunning in all senses, and one you add the scenery.. Our Lewis said "it's like we are making our own top gear episode"
Thoroughly enjoyed the day, the driving and the meeting other members. Thanks again guys, you did yourselves proud!
Could of pics I took, will upload the videos and drone footage when I get to work later.
