Big thanks to Craig for organising today. Had a cracking time and it was all over way too quickly for us, but we had to get back to relieve our babysitters. Only hit Wigan at 17.45.

Thanks for making Vicki and I so welcome...

Will keep you posted about whether we can make any further dates over the summer.

Pity you never came back to the quick pitstop in Hawick,as we managed to lose half the group by then, and we could have said cheerio to you both.
Hope you enjoyed it,and was good to meet you
Be good to see you at another meet in the months ahead :driving:

Glad you enjoyed it,Maurice. Some of the roads were poor, but thankfully we avoided any burst tyres, etc and I think I/we managed to avoid most of the potholes.
Sadly the roads everywhere are poor just now,as probably won't n fixed for months to come,if at all, lol.
It was certainly worse than on last years run,but it didn't spoil it for me. The good outweighs the not so good :driving:
Good to see you both, and see you in Skye

Dean and I really enjoyed our first run today Craig, so must thank you for your time and effort. Much appreciated 👍
Was really good to meet fellow members and put faces to their handles.
I personally must apologise for the state of the Scottish roads , they were diabolical and I’m sure I’ve buckled a rear alloy en route.
I hope all members arrived home safely and look forward to seeing you all again. Thanks Steve

Thanks Craig for a great well organised run

Excellent lunch in Lockerbie and some good banter

Even though we stopped at a random Buddhist temple it did no help with the “Holy” roads !

Only one mad cyclist this time .. but I bet his innards are still quaking after a pass by the rumbling V10 monster

All in all . Great roads fantastic scenery and filthy Zeds :driving:

Looking forward to Skye in May

Thanks Craig
Despite all your efforts, describing the route, handing me a copy of the route THEN describing the route a 2nd time ............I still only managed the 1st roundabout before I was lost
My dearest Google maps taking me up narrow farm tracks full of cowshit, potholes, Ford's ( the watery features, not the car ) and Farmer Palmer :headbang:
I ended my group run heading up the A7 home, all by myself.
Despite that it was lovely to meet you all and a note to myself for any future meets would be to get into my car 5 minutes before everyone else so that I can at least see which way they went! :tumbleweed:

Hi guys having followed Scooby, whom I assume knew what he was doing, then realising that by now time was running out I had to bail out and head for Berwick to catch my train...

Just made it with some very spirited driving...

Despite all that, of maybe because of it, a great run out to kick of 2018  :driving:

Yeah, the roads were bad at times, but no worse than the rest of the UK,and in better condition than some other parts of the country, tbh.
As said, they will probably not be fixed anytime soon, lol.

Was good to meet you and your son.....and see your lovely V10 z4. A nice build, and worth the effort. Just need to bring it out in better weather and get proper benefit of those cup tyres :driving:

Hopefully see you at another meet soon
