Was this a work or motoring incident?

Both,kinda....works van...long story,but not a good one!
Will be off work for a few weeks,happened just over a week ago,and still in alot of pain!!

I will be posting info up on Scottish meets in the coming week,or two,after Monday is out the way,I will be getting stuff firmed up.
Have already done so for the National meet,and have various things to sort for the rest of next years Runs.

I have previously mentioned that I was planning a meet in August,for Skye or Applecross areas,and then you mentioned at wanting to do a meet in August too.
Although,now looking at moving plans for August into May,to accommodate everyone/everything

Myself and others are trying to avoid having two meets in the one month,and also having too many meets in the one area,hence why I may now drop my proposed Moffat/Dunn's meet next year,otherwise we will end up with 3/4 meets in the one area.
We try and have them in various areas round the country,for various reasons.

Give me a couple more weeks and I can get things finalised.

I will post in due course the Plans for next year's Scottish meets,as I said.

Hi Craig, I'll hold off for a few weeks before deciding if and when there is a Borders run, feel free to use whatever dates you want, I'll sort out our business/family stuff as required and then fit the Z4 stuff as we can..

Sounds like a bad accident in the van...take care...eat plenty of curries and drink lots of single malts..

Just to clarify things guys, this thread is for a North East meet in the Yorkshire Dales/Moors - Not a Scottish meet!

I'll be starting to sort it soon and give some definite dates etc...

Hi Eddy, yes thats undertsood, I think Craig's intervention slightly de railed the flow (with the best of intentions)..standing by for the dates, I did stay a few days ago at the new Premier Inn at Thirsk which would be a convenient base for a variable number of attendees..I can offer some other accomodation ideas in the area but given the nature of these things, a large hotel isn't a bad choice..over to you!

Choose an appropriate Hotel and ask them to reserve X rooms, then give the interested parties a drop dead booking date! (Directly with the hotel)
It’s often good to be billeted with the rest of the group that you’ve travelled with during the day for dinner and drinks.

This sounds great. Wife and I would be very interested in doing both. Staying in a B&B would be nice, and lets hope for a rain free weekend.

Hi Eddy,

Providing the dates work for me I would be interested in joining for a drive although I probably won't stay over as I live close to the Moors. I'll keep an eye out and will let you know when you have some plans.
